Job description
Duties and Responsibilities
- Follow route and time schedules.
- Ensures vehicle cleanliness.
- Ensure that vehicle preventive maintenance is executed.
- Checks brakes, lights, oil, water, battery and gas requirements of vehicles.
- Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicle.
- Complete logs and reports including trip tickets, etc.
- Inspect vehicles for defects and safe operating conditions before, during and after trips and submit a written report on the condition of the vehicle at the end of each trip.
- Check papers and documents for quality control.
- Dress presentably.
- Report all accidents and incidents involving drivers or company equipment.
- Report any delays due to breakdowns, weather or traffic conditions or other emergencies.
Job summary Drivers transport people and things safely via bus, small trucks, or light vehicles. They conduct necessary maintenance of their vehicles.
Education Background and Licenses
- Graduate of Basic Education.
- For bus drivers:
- Licensed as a Professional Driver with Restrictions 1, 2, and 3.
- For car drivers:
- Licensed as a Professional Driver with Restrictions 2.
- For motorcycle drivers:
- Licensed as a Non-Professional Driver with Restrictions 1.
