— College applicants must take the Admission Test. There is NO entrance exam for SHS students. For college applicants, PNTC is waiving the admission testing fee due to the current pandemic.
— Kailangan pong kumuha ng Admission Test ang lahat ng college applicants. WALA pong entrance exam para sa SHS. Para sa mga college applicant, wala po munang bayad ang admission testing bilang tulong namin ngayong may pandemya.

— Yes, for college applicants only. SHS do not need to undergo medical exams. Medical exams will be conducted by our medical provider as part of the admission process. Our Admissions Office will give you further instructions on when and where to go for the medical exam.
— Para sa college lang po. Wala pong medical exam ang SHS. Isasailalim po kayo sa medical exam bilang bahagi ng admission process. Ituturo po ng aming Admissions Office kung saan at kailan po kayo magpapa-medical.

— We require all students to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. You may be allowed to apply and take our admission test without it, but you must be fully vaccinated with proof by the time enrollment comes around.
— Lahat ng estudyante ay kailangang bakunado laban sa COVID-19. Maaari pa ring mag-apply at kumuha ng aming admission test nang walang bakuna pero kailangang fully vaccinated na ang estudyante pagdating ng enrollment.

— We regret to inform you that we do not allow tattooed individuals to enroll at PNTC unless they sign a waiver.

— The maritime industry has certain vision requirements that can make or break your career. The Ishihara Test assesses color perception, and those who don’t pass the minimum standard will not be allowed to continue with their maritime education. This is why you have to take the test before enrollment.
— May vision requirements po ang maritime industry na makaaapekto sa mga trabahong maaari ninyong pasukin. Sinusukat ng Ishihara Test ang mga kulay sa paningin, at hindi po pinapayagang kumuha o magpatuloy sa maritime programs ang mga hindi nakakapasa sa minimum standard. Ito po ang dahilan kaya kinakailangan po ito bago makapag-enroll.

— To help lessen student expenses, we provide FREE Ishihara tests through our School Clinic.

— Yes. We don’t discriminate against any gender. There may be more men in the maritime industry, but women are very much capable of becoming competent seafarers. Two percent of the world’s seafarers are women, and this number is growing.
— Opo. Hindi po kami nagdi-discriminate. Mas marami lang po ang mga lalaki sa maritime industry, pero kaya rin po ng mga babaeng maging magaling na seafarer. Dalawang porsyento po ng mga seafarer sa mundo ang babae, at lumalaki pa po ang bilang bawat taon.
