PNTC Colleges – Maritime Training Center is in need of Training Operations Officer.

 

QUALIFICATION:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or any related program
  • At least one (1) years’ work experience in an office environment
  • Preference is given to those who have worked in education or training institutions
  • Computer literate, particularly in MS Office applications

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare training class schedules.
  • Inform instructors of their training class schedules.
  • Assist in the adjustment of trainee’s schedule as may be requested by clients or Client Relations Officers.
  • Arrange make-up classes for trainees with incomplete attendance.
  • Check and monitor record of attendance sheet of trainees submitted by instructor assigned per class.
  • Coordinate with the Training Registration Officer to create required documents.
  • Create documents for practicum training, i.e. list of practicum participants.
  • Coordinate with Finance Department and Facilities Office to secure necessary documents, equipment, and transportation needed for practicum training.
  • Ensure that all records are filed, organized, and submitted on time.
  • Answer queries and concerns regarding compliance of training records and completion reports of trainees.
  • Coordinate with Documentation and Reporting Officer in matters concerning trainee’s attendance, records, grades, TCROA, etc.
  • Coordinate with Assistant Training Registrar for documents required to be submitted to MARINA or clients.
  • Secures all records and update files relating to the conduct of training.

  • Read, understand, and comply with all management rules and regulations.
  • Adhere to the quality objectives and quality management systems in compliance with internal, local, and international requirements, in order to protect the integrity of diploma and certificates.
  • Initiate and suggest improvements in the processes, procedures or documents and reports the same to the quality department, department head, or any proper member of management.
  • Promote trainee and student satisfaction by addressing their needs and requirements without delay.
  • Promote external customer satisfaction by conforming to the prescribed standards of local and international regulatory and certifying bodies.
  • Promote internal customer satisfaction by ensuring timely and accurate outputs and by preserving and contributing to a positive workplace environment.
  • Perform temporary duties based on the Succession Plan.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of documents and information to which the position is privy to in compliance with the privacy policies.
  • Travel between various sites for projects, events, seminars, or other activities.
  • Perform duties and responsibilities efficiently and effectively.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
